Owner-Guided Payroll Intelligence
RogueGrid helps owners see payroll obligations before they pay or file externally.
This workspace is more than passive recordkeeping. It is designed to calculate estimated payroll obligations,
separate federal, state, unemployment, and local buckets where applicable, explain what each number means,
and prepare the owner execution checklist before the owner uses EFTPS, state portals, bank payments,
payroll providers, or CPA/bookkeeper review.
RogueGrid guides the owner. RogueGrid does not process payroll, move funds, file returns, remit taxes,
guarantee tax outcomes, or replace licensed payroll/tax professionals.

Federal payroll tax estimate buckets
| Bucket |
Owner-facing purpose |
| Gross wages |
Payroll base for the selected period/quarter. |
| Employee withholding |
Estimated federal income tax withheld from wages. |
| Employee FICA |
Estimated employee Social Security and Medicare share. |
| Employer FICA |
Estimated employer Social Security and Medicare share. |
| 941 readiness total |
Estimated federal payroll obligation to verify before external payment/filing. |
Quarterly reporting and deposit timing are not always the same. RogueGrid should warn the owner to verify
monthly, semiweekly, or other deposit requirements before payment.
Jurisdiction-Aware Guidance
Federal + state + local profile
Payroll guidance must adapt by jurisdiction. Louisiana can be the first deeply seeded profile, but the platform
must support the other 49 states and local rules where applicable.
- Business operating state
- Employee work state
- Employee residence state
- State withholding profile
- State unemployment profile
- Paid leave/disability/local payroll rules where applicable
- CPA/bookkeeper verification prompts when a state profile is not fully seeded
Core RogueGrid Doctrine
Proactive, not merely passive
Passive software stores what happened. RogueGrid helps the business owner understand what is happening,
what is likely owed, what is risky, what is missing, and what action should happen next under owner control.
- Calculate.
- Teach.
- Guide.
- Surface risk.
- Organize proof.
- Respect owner control.
- Adapt by business type and jurisdiction.
